Don't ask me why I drew this.......cause it's a rather strange and long story.
Just know this is part of some strange little series I'm planning on doing.
In me Ancient Art History class, we began to study mythological creatures found in art and literature. And as we were in the subject of the ancient Middle East, the form the the magical Genie was brought up.............and then.....I was gripped by a madness to draw.
So, enjoy my madness.........and be on the lookout for more of my "Dude meets...." series.

This picture inspired me to write a story. I wouldn't *dream* of stealing it for an illustration, but I might want to reference it in end-notes or something like that.
Anyway, what I see here is that it is very clear that the genie is going to be the master, not the other way around. The genie isn't anything like Barbara Eden, or Piper Laurie (1950s version of Thief of Baghdad) or any other classic Hollywood genie. In other words, she ain't white. She also shows a lot of experience behind the one green eye we can see entire. The Dude is just scared shitless, but he should be if he's not dumber than a boxful of special-needs rocks.
In my story, our hero has no pants to brown because his "friends" have left him naked in the desert and forgotten about him. He needs a genie in that bottle 'cause it won't hold enough water to get him to somewhere with a well.
